California hiker falls 70 feet in Tahoe National Forest, dog saves him in ‘true Lassie fashion,’ rescuers say

A California hiker who fell 70 ft in Tahoe Nationwide Forest past week was saved by his pet dog in “real Lassie style” just after the pup led rescuers to its wounded owner, officers mentioned.

The 53-12 months-outdated male known as 911 with his cellphone, complaining that he broke his hip and some ribs, Nevada County Sheriff’s Look for and Rescue claimed.
