JAMMU, June 5: NIFD-shaping the long term designers organised convocation for the 25th graduating batch at NIFD Campus, here currently.
The NIFD is an institute that has concluded its journey of 25 years, graduating the learners in the industry of creativeness, whether it be in fashion, interior, textile or art and craft.
Previous Centre Administrators of NIFD such as Dr Bhushan Sharma, Pawan Reen, Gunjan Kohli and Mamta Jeena were among the the chief friends who graced the occasion in existence of the other dignitaries like Advocate Yashodhan Thakur and Dr Shavika Gupta.
The programme commenced with the lighting of lamps, followed by the Ganesha Pranam and a group dance staged by the learners. Throughout the occasion, the pupils showcased their costumes in two rounds together with ‘Hand Crafted with Love’ and ‘Summer Day Out’ on the ramp.
The highlight of the program was the presentation ceremony of levels and diplomas to the graduating batch of Vogue Developing, Interior Building and Artwork and Craft pupils.

Vanita Thakur, chairperson and founder of NIFD together with Aishwarya Thakur Secretary NIFD Modern society congratulated all the learners and wished them all the best for the long run, as they had been now moving into and stepping forward into the expert globe.
She also announced that 7 pupils from this batch have previously been received placement and these students are Shubhkriti Sharma, Dimpy Guleria, Kanika Virdi, Ravina Rajput, Shayista Sajad, Sonali Sharma, Mahima Grover, out which two are working in Federal government sectors.
Sheetal Sharma, Centre Supervisor presented a vote of thanks and emphasised on the numerous courses that have been included to the present-day curriculum as Natural beauty and Grooming, Digital Trend Illustration, Manner Styling and even Basohli painting.
